![]() ![]() It's not clear whether this ability will scale damage-wise with the Ring throughout the match, or if it will stay at a constant damage all the time. It seems like this zone would function and deal damage like the normal Ring, though he would have control over where this miniaturized version materializes. My Ring, My Rules allows Blisk to create a damaging zone inside the Apex Legends Ring. RELATED: Why Apex Legends Seems Reluctant to Add Another Healing Character Like Lifeline While lore-wise, this isn't entirely fair to the other competitors in the Apex Games, it should make for some entertaining banter and moments, provided Blisk is actually on the way. Blisk is the founder of the Apex Games, so it only follows that he would have some kind of control over the Ring and its technology. Despite how little he's actually in both games he's a great character.Blisk's rumored Tactical Ability is called My Ring, My Rules. So he's not evil or even bad, just lacks certain morals provided he gets paid and is free to work how he wants. I think, if the Militia didn't view him as a criminal, and they offered him decent pay at this point Blisk would probably agree to a contract. I don't see Blisk as being made less evil, I think he's just a little bbit more jaded and burnt out from Graves betrayal and now he just sticks to the contract and keeps a professional distance from his employers, maybe even views them with disgust/distrust. He doesn't hate Jack but I think he dislikes Marder but will work for him as the money is good. This may be why in the second game he is more interested in looking out for himself. He's got some very strict codes he lives by and putting them aside for Graves was probably quite a big thing for him. He's not really evil at all, not even from the first game. ![]() He offers Jack the possibility of joining him because Jack's just beaten all his mercs. And further, if Blisk is less of an antagonist and just simply a character with his own code and morals that may or may not support the IMC, there is justification in the writing for him not to end up a boss/final boss in any future Titanfall campaign.īlisk also recognises talent. I think Respawn "toned" Blisk down because they want to emphasis/prop him up as a more likable character so that future IMC people they may introduce seem more "evil" or generally antagonistic.Īt this point, the Militia are the good guys. People who probably followed Blisk with some loyalty. The same person who has wiped out a great deal of the Apex Predators. This is seen when he ignores Marder, and lets Jack Cooper live. He's still the same character for the most part, but they've upped his "Mercenary Honor" trait. It really means something for him to just ignore it outright.įast forward to Titanfall 2 though, Respawn has changed Blisk "slightly". No mercenary code, just a personal dislike for Graves, one of the "good guys" if you will.ĮDIT: The "mercenary" aspect of him is very important. They're all "terrorists", no exception (it is revealed the the colony actually wasn't aligned with the Militia, and this is why MacAllan joined Bish and Sarah against the IMC).Īnd following that, at the very end of the "campaign", he offers to fight Vice Admiral Graves (who's defected to the Militia at this point) for free. Two examples from the first game I can give to maybe put this more in perspective is that there is a "mission" in the first Titanfall where the IMC slaughters colonists. He felt like more of a "bad guy" than not. But in the first game, Blisk was more of the corporate mercenary sort. Granted, he's always been a mercenary, and granted Respawn has always tended to favor the Militia as the "good guys". Were Blisk's antagonistic traits toned down for the second game? ![]() This might be a difficult question for those who've never played the original to answer, but I do ask to the community: ![]()
